Ordering and Delivery Information
To place an order, email us or fill out our online ordering form . Once we receive your inquiry, we will be in contact with you to place your order. We do not answer direct messaging through our social media platforms or text messages.
Invoices are sent to your email address and must be paid for by a credit or debit card. Pre-orders must be paid for prior to pick up or delivery. Cash and card payments are welcome in person for small orders (ie. Cookies) or for customers picking up our extras for the day. Pre-orders are highly recommended to guarantee your order, and payment is expected within one week the order is placed.
To better serve you, we recommend that you contact us 4 weeks prior to your event to place an order. For custom or large orders, a 50% deposit is due 4 weeks prior to when the order is due, and full payment is due 1 week prior to when the order is due. Once we receive a deposit, we will sketch out some designs of your custom order for you to choose and agree on.
Standard cake designs with less than one week notice may be subjected to a $20 rush fee. Custom and large orders with less than two weeks notice may be subjected to a $20 rush fee (this includes decorated sugar cookies). Orders must be confirmed and paid for one week prior to order pick up/delivery.
Please contact us as soon as possible to place a deposit and reserve your spot so we can special order any ingredients, tools or other products needed to make your custom order. We book rather quickly, especially since we are a small local business with limited help in the bakery. Please see Shortcakes Hawaii Policies for more information.
We do provide delivery services for $15/hour roundtrip and rounded to the nearest half hour plus a $0.66/mile charge. We calculate delivery based on an estimated driving time calculated by MapQuest and Google Maps.
